The South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind is a fully constituted welfare organization,
|
registered with the Department of Social Development in terms of the Non Profit Organisations Act (Act 71 of 1997). It is also affiliated to The South African National Council for the Blind.
SAGA is a founder member of The International Federation of Guide dog Schools – a federation that comprises of 76 guide dog schools across 26 countries.

The control of the Association rests in the hands of an Executive Committee which is elected each year at an Annual General Meeting. On a day to day basis SAGA is managed and led by Executive Director, Malcolm Driver. Operationally the Association is structured into 4 departments :
